Happy Birthday to a Special Someone
It sucks to have your birthday smack in the middle of the SPM period, right? Not many people can stomach that. But there's someone I know who is putting up with that this very moment. She is none other than my sis Jeanette Chang Siu-Lin.
Thanks Jean for all the great times that we had while I was back at home. I'll always cherish the times where the 3 of us would sneak downstairs at 12am to have supper and disturb Natalie like there's no tomorrow. And also all the great times when we went on our family vacations in places like China, Korea, Kuching etc.
I know we've had some differences over the past 17 years (ok maybe a little more than some) but I think my last 2 years away from home has taught me how to give in and appreciate my family. Hopefully our 耍花枪 sessions are a thing of the past, and I hope that in the future we will be able to grow closer as we mature into young adults during this important development stage of our lives.
Anyway I wish you all the best for your SPM and I know that you'll do not just well, but pass with flying colours. Remember that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Once again I'm sorry that you had to take all my crap for the past 17 years and I promise that I will become a better brother in the future.
Have a good one, Jean!
